Pongwe Beach Hotel first opened its doors over 15 years ago and has had the pleasure to welcome a huge variety of international travellers. We have always prided ourselves on offering a 4* experience at the price of a 3* hotel – something which all our guests have appreciated.

One of the ways we have kept our service levels so high is by having a large workforce of over 85 staff many of whom are employed from the local area.

Zanzibar is reopening to tourists at the end of June and we know we need to work together to get out of this hard time
